Our Tasting Events

We hold private tea tasting events. These events are to allow seasoned tea drinkers and new tea drinkers, alike, to sit down and enjoy a selection of teas in our tea house. Come and discover our wide range of the finest Chinese teas and enjoy an authentic Gong Fu Cha Ceremony.

Free Tea Tasting

Drop in for a free tasting at anytime between 1pm to 5pm on every Sunday at our Portobello Green Teahouse.

Private Tea Tasting

Our Private Tea Tastings are a casual hour and half of fine tea appreciation. You will taste the different teas from a different category and region so guests can explore the diversity of tastes from a single plant. Tea tasting is available by appointment only after at 6pm between Tuesday and Sunday.

Price: £15 per person for 3 teas.

- 10% off any teas or accessories purchased during your tasting session.

 

Customized Tasting Events

You can customize the Tasting event to suit your own needs. You can specify the time and the amount of people who attend. You can also specify what kind of tea and how much tea you want to drink. Pricing will depend on the requested teas and the time allotted.  This is a good way to taste teas that you may have been interested in.

Special Events

We are more than happy to step outside the tearoom and bring our passion to a greater audience in other locations.  We can serve tea to a class of inquisitive kids or serve up tea at corporate events... want to impress your new Chinese business partners? Well, give us a call! Our tea programs can be customized to suit private parties or public presentations.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers for tea tasting events are also available and are great and unique gifts for Birthdays, Christmas and other celebrations.
