Our Shi Feng Long Jing is the first flush spring buds from Shi Feng Mountain (Lion's Peak) in Hangzhou, where is considered one of the best for producing the bright green colour of the leaves and elegant flavours, and also is the original 18 Long Jing buses tribute to Qing emperor Qian long are from.
The tea was directly from tea master Mr. Wang in Long Jing Village, he has great skill to hand fry the fresh buds and leaves to create Long Jing's unique flat shape and wonderful nutty flavour. You will enjoy this remarkable tea with the full bodied flavour, long lasting and mellow taste and fresh fragrance. Don't miss this tea.
- Use freshly drawn cold water
- Boil water & allow to cool for 4 to 5 minutes to 80-85℃
- Use 3g tea leaves in a 150ml cup
- Steep for 1 to 2 minutes (or to your taste)
- Infusions: at least 4 times – don't remove the leaves from the mug, as once the water level is low, simply add more water and keep going until the flavour of the tea is gone
- Brewing vessel: Glass cup, gaiwan, glass or porcelain pot
Steps:
Leaf weight: hot water ratio = 1:50 (2g of leaf for 100ml of water);
Water temperature: 80-85℃

2. Gently pour hot water into the pot upto 1/3 of teapot |

3. Place green tea according to the above ratio. |
4. Gently shake the pot a bit, let all the leaves wet, then wait for 30 second, enjoy the green tea aroma. |

5. Gently pour more hot water up to the pot. |
6. Place the lid on, and wait for 1 minute. |

7. While you are waiting, watching the leave floats up and down in the pot. |
8. Serve. You can refill hot water over and over again. For 2nd brewing, brewing time is about 10 seconds and third brewing onwards, please add 10 seconds for each subsequent brewing. |
