From Fuzhou in China's South Eastern province of Fujian, these sweet-scented Jasmine pearls exude the most divine aroma.

To make this tea, young buds from white tea bushes are harvested in the early spring and then hand-rolled into tight pearls. The dried pearls are dried and set aside until the jasmine flowers comes into season, and then lay down with fresh jasmine flowers for 5 times.

Jasmine Pearls are known to relieve tension and are also thought to be an aphrodisiac.

How to brew

  • Use freshly drawn cold water

  • Boil water & allow to cool for 2 minutes to about 90℃

  • Use 3g tea leaves in a 350ml cup

  • Steep for 1 to 2 minutes (or to your taste)

  • Infusions: at least 3 times – don't remove the leaves from the mug, as once the water level is low, simply add more water and keep going until the flavour of the tea is gone
